ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Electrical Construction Manager / Field Engineer with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience of on-site management of high power electrical/instrumentation work.  Position requires knowledge of large transformers, 4160V switchgear, 480V distribution, instrumentation/controls, field management of sub-contractors, scheduling (Primavera P6), constructability reviews, OSHA and interpersonal skills. 

Must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Review drawings, plans and contract specifications
• Perform quantity material take-offs, calculate labor cost in order to provide a detailed cost quotation
• Develop and interpret CPM schedules
• Supervise, coordinate and sequence project work activities to minimize interference between various trades and contractors on the project
• Resolve potential constructability issues
• Act as liaison between client/owners, engineers and subcontractors

Computer skills are required and degree is a plus. This position is a temporary position for approximately 2 years.
