GENERAL TRADES CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

General Trades Construction Manager / Field Engineer with a minimum of 10-15 years experience of on-site management of constructing buildings used for power plants. Position requires knowledge of construction of facilities required in power plants with a good working knowledge of construction of masonry walls, metal siding, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. Knowledge of scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 is necessary and the ability to ensure that safety procedures are being followed by the subcontractors is a must. This position requires a person with good interpersonal skills.

Must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Review drawings, plans and contract specifications
• Develop and interpret CPM schedules
• Supervise, coordinate and sequence project work activities to minimize interference between various trades and contractors on the project
• Resolve potential constructability issues
• Act as liaison between client/owners, engineers and subcontractors

Computer skills are required and degree is a plus. This position is a temporary position for approximately 1 to 1-1/2 years.
