Mr. Calderone has over eighteen years experience in the Design/Build industry, with increasing responsibility and capacity on the construction management end. His experience includes power, industrial, educational and commercial facilities.
As Vice President of The Perry Group (PGL), he is responsible for the overall coordination, communication, scope of work, schedule, contracts and budget of multi-discipline projects and serves as the client's prime representative in The Perry Group's office. In addition, Mr. Calderone monitors and controls project design and construction costs.
His experience affords him the capability of meeting each individual client's requirements and needs in a comfortable and participating manner. Mr. Calderone has been personally responsible for completing several design/build projects ranging from single-discipline to multi-discipline involvement and ranging in costs of $500,000 to over $20,000,000.
The most recent projects have involved "Balance of Plant" work in different power plants. Mr. Calderone was responsible for setting up bid packages, along with subcontracts, including; general trades, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, masonry, pre-engineered buildings, concrete and several equipment/material and procurement contracts. He also coordinated each sub's scope of work with The Perry Group's field personnel on site. All PGL personnel in-house and on site report to Mr. Calderone directly.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Mr. Calderone graduated in 1989 from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, Colorado and Iowa and has a General Contractors License from West Virginia.
